Business Administration

Good business administrators are a real asset to an organisation. Working in this field is also a great introduction to a range of office jobs and areas of business.

On this Traineeship you will study towards a Level 2 BTEC in Business Administration which will help you become familiar with the office environment and common Business Administration tasks. You will learn how to process business information using data management software and plan and prepare for a business event.

You will also learn transferable technical and practical skills in communication, decision making, self-management and development, problem solving and managing information.

Course Content

To achieve your Level 2 BTEC in Business Administration you will need to complete units in the following:

Learners are required to complete and achieve all the units in this qualification. The core units ensure that all learners will:

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of a range of administrative support tasks.
  • Demonstrate professional behaviours and effective communication in the work environment.
  • Process business information accurately using data management software.
  • Plan and prepare for a business event according to a given brief.

Eligibility

There are no qualification requirements for the course. If you need support in English and Maths, this can be included in your Traineeship.

Assessment

The qualification will be awarded to learners who produce the required portfolio of evidence.

This course, and my mentor’s support, encouraged me to apply for jobs as it helped to improve my English language skills and build my confidence. The course was very well organised and had a great structure. I would recommend it to everyone.
