BTEC Level 2
The BTEC Health and Safety in Construction Level 2 is designed for learners who want to gain valuable experience within manufacturing and engineering sector, be that new to the sector or already working in the industry.
You will learn about hazards and risks associated with the site environment, and the regulatory processes and procedures that must be followed by all site staff and operatives.
The Pearson BTEC Level 1 Introductory Award for Health and Safety in Construction provides a great opportunity for a learner to progress their career within the construction industry

Course content
The course comprises of one unit in Health and Safety in a Construction environment, which covers the following topics:
Learners do not need to achieve any other qualifications before registering for a BTEC First. No prior knowledge, understanding or skills are necessary.
You will be awarded a Level 2 certification.
The centre will devise and mark the assessment for this unit. This will be externally verified by Pearson. Learners must meet all assessment criteria to pass the unit.
